Quick Start on a computer

This walks through the website at tracker.purepowerpicks.com the way most members use it. Each picture has numbered boxes, and the list under it says what each number is.

Using the app instead? See Quick Start on your phone.

1. Find your way around

When you sign in, you land on PPP Alerts: every active alert in one table, newest first.

PPP Alerts on the website, with the sidebar, header buttons and the alerts table marked

  1. The sidebar. Every page: PPP Alerts, PPP Watchlist and the Chart Scanner at the top, then your own tools (My Desk, Trade Planner, Charts, Data Flow, Notifications). The arrows at the top fold it away.
  2. Assistant. Opens Watt, the assistant, from any page.
  3. Notifications. The red number is how many you have not read yet.
  4. Table or Charts. Table is this list. Charts shows every alert as a chart.
  5. Options or Stock. Options shows how each option contract is doing. Stock shows how the stock itself is doing.
  6. An alert. Click the row (or the arrow at its end) to open the full alert. The star adds it to My Alerts.

Reading a row: Alerted at is the contract's price when the alert posted, High is the highest it has reached since, High (%) is how far that is above the alerted price (with the date and how many market days it took), and Current is where it is now. Plan status says how the stock is doing against the plan (On plan, Resistance, Under pressure, Invalidated), and Contract Health is a 0 to 100 read on the option contract itself. An adj next to a price means the alerted price never traded, so the alert is measured from the closest real price instead.

2. Open an alert

The top of an alert's page is the scoreboard.

The top of an alert page on the website, with the main numbers marked

  1. My Alerts. Keep this alert in your own list (it lives in My Desk). Optional.
  2. Ask the Assistant. Opens Watt with this alert already loaded.
  3. Alerted at. The stock's price when the alert posted, and the date.
  4. Now. The stock's latest price, updated about every 5 minutes in market hours. After-hours moves show underneath.
  5. Best move. The furthest the stock has moved in the idea's direction since the alert.
  6. Target progress. How many of the plan's price targets the stock has reached, and how far the next one is.
  7. Invalidation. The level where the idea is wrong, and how far price is from it right now. This is the most important number on the page.
  8. The option contract. Its alerted price, current price, High and High (%), the days to expiration, and its Contract Health score. Click the score to see why.

Alert Chart and Opportunity Calculator sit between the two buttons.

3. Read the plan

Scroll down. The plan is the part to read before anything else.

The alert thesis, alert chart and price levels on the website, marked

  1. Plan check. A one-line read on whether price is still on the right side of the plan.
  2. The thesis. Why the idea was alerted, the levels to watch, the targets, and what would make it fail.
  3. Plan levels on the chart. T1 to T5 are the targets, B1 is the breakout level, and INV is the invalidation level.
  4. Alerted. The arrow marks the moment the alert posted.
  5. Price levels. The same plan as a list: the support zone, resistance, breakout, every target and the invalidation level, each marked as reached or not yet.

Further down the page you will find the final review once an alert expires, and your own private notes.

4. Notifications

Click the bell to see what you have been sent.

The notifications panel on the website, with the bell, settings and one alert notification marked

  1. The bell.
  2. Settings. Opens the full Notifications page.
  3. A notification. Click it to go straight to that alert or watchlist.
  4. Open Notifications for the full history.

Choose what you get

Open Notifications in the sidebar.

The Notifications page on the website, with the three groups of switches marked

  1. Core alert updates. One switch for the three that matter most: a new alert, High milestones (+25%, +50%, +75%, +100%, then every +100%) and invalidation if the plan's level breaks. Each fires once per alert. Keep this on.
  2. Stock-level updates. Optional extras: a target reached, price coming within 2% of support or resistance, and an invalidated alert closing back through its level.
  3. Weekly watchlist. One notification when the new Stocks To Watch list posts.

To get notifications while the tab is closed, allow notifications for the site when your browser asks. If they do not show up, see Desktop alerts not showing up? For alerts on the go, the app is the easiest route.

5. Ask the assistant

Click Assistant at the top, or My Desk in the sidebar.

My Desk on the website with a question asked and the assistant's answer, marked

  1. Your conversations. Pick an earlier chat, or click New to start fresh.
  2. Your question. Ask in plain English, for example "What is the plan on CRM?" or "What looks good from this week's watchlist?"
  3. Watt's answer. It reads the same data the tracker does: prices, the alert plans, technicals, news, earnings dates and more. It says when it does not have something.
  4. Type here to ask a follow-up.
  5. Quick or Thorough. Quick answers fast. Thorough digs deeper and takes a few seconds longer.
  6. My Watchlist. Your own list of tickers, separate from PPP's weekly watchlist.
  7. My Alerts. The alerts you starred.

Watt uses AI credits, which reset every week. See AI Credits.

6. Plan any ticker

Open Trade Planner in the sidebar, type any ticker, and pick a time window. A plan takes a moment to build.

A finished Trade Planner plan on the website, marked

  1. The plan: the ticker, its time window, and the dates it covers.
  2. Plan notifications. Choose to be told when price reaches this plan's levels.
  3. Where price sits between the plan's support and resistance levels.
  4. The bull case: its zone, its invalidation (judged on the daily close), its targets, its reward vs risk, and a chart with every level drawn on.
  5. The bear case, laid out the same way.

Plans are price levels, not timing forecasts. More on the Trade Planner page.

7. The weekly watchlist

Open PPP Watchlist in the sidebar for the week's Stocks To Watch.

The weekly watchlist on the website, marked

  1. Pick the week. Prev, Next, a date, or the Archive.
  2. Find a ticker in every watchlist we have posted.
  3. The stock: its price, sector, market cap and next earnings date.
  4. The write-up. What the stock has been doing and what we are watching for.
  5. The levels: where price sits, then support, resistance, upside, downside, breakout and breakdown.

A watchlist stock is not an alert. Some turn into alerts later in the week, some never do.

8. The Chart Scanner (Full Membership)

Open Chart Scanner in the sidebar. Every night it scans thousands of stocks for chart patterns and studies, and opens on Best matches: one card per stock, with the pattern's numbered points drawn on the chart. More on the Chart Scanner page.

What a typical week looks like

  1. A new alert posts. You get a notification: "New alert: CRM CALL." Click it.
  2. Read the plan first. The thesis, the targets and, above all, the invalidation level.
  3. Star it if you want to follow it closely. It shows up in My Desk.
  4. Let the tracker watch it. You will hear about it again only when it reaches a High milestone or breaks its invalidation level.
  5. On the weekend, the new watchlist posts with the stocks we are watching for the week ahead.
  6. When an alert expires, its page shows a final review of how the idea played out.

What to expect: prices update about every 5 minutes in market hours. Not every idea reaches its target, and many dip before they move, which is why every plan publishes an invalidation level. Alerts are educational ideas, not advice, and what you do with one is always your call.
